Timber Outdoor Music Fest
On Friday night of Timber starting at 11:30pm, guests can join astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Societies and astrophysicists from University of Washington for a star party! Guests will be able to learn about the cosmos, gaze at distant planets and galaxies and celebrate the outdoors in the grandest way. Timber’s stargazing activity will take place in the North Meadow on the west side of the walking bridge.
Admission is free for participating astronomers.
Overnight camping at the observing field is strongly suggested.

Timber Outdoor Music Fest Star Party, Tolt-MacDonald Park and Campground, 31020 NE 40th Street, Carnation, WA 98014
Overnight camping is strongly suggested.
In order to view from the darkest possible Park location telescopse will be set up in a north meadow on the opposite side of the river which is free of lights. Having telescopes there will require that the Music Fest host, Kevin Sur load us in via an access road rather than through the festival front entrance. All astronomer should meet Kevin at 8PM for all those bringing vehicles so he can escort the group in one trip. If it's not possible, Kevin said he'll make it work.
Kevin's number is 206.409.4304
