Remember that reservations for the SAS 2018 Banquet on January 28, 2018, 04:00 p.m., are on sale here on the Banquet page for members and now for non-members. Please plan to come out and join us! Seating for dinner will be at 5:00 p.m. after a social hour at 4:00 p.m. A link for ticket purchase can be found under the map on the Banquet page, which can be accessed by the link under "Activities" on the home page. Robert Reeves will demonstrate how it is possible for the amateur astronomer to use modest, affordable equipment to take lunar photographs that exceed the resolution achieved by professional, earth-based telescopes during the Apollo era. Reeves will also detail the image processing steps required to achieve these results.
