We host many volunteer organizations who set up interactive displays / talk to students & families  about their science related field. It is a very exciting evening!  We host a casual dinner for all our volunteers beforehand. We would love to host SAS to get students excited and educated in the field of astronomy.  Possibly, you can bring a telescope?

Notes

From David Ingram:
Results of last night's astro EPO were  encouraging to me. While there was low turnout at the school and no other SAS members, the UW League of Astronomers turned out in force.  They are a dynamic group of young people. See attached e-mail.
I was happy to see them come to the event.  They did a great job working with kids and had a great grasp of astronomy concepts. I had the material and handout for the kids.
I hope they will continue to be excited about astro EPO and choose to work with the SAS. At least one of them intend to join the SAS with student membership.
