Overview

We host many volunteer organizations who set up interactive displays / talk to students & families  about their science related field. It is a very exciting evening!  We host a casual dinner for all our volunteers beforehand. We would love to host SAS to get students excited and educated in the field of astronomy.  Possibly, you can bring a telescope?

    Astronomy Merit Badge

    Hello! We a trying to get our Scouts excited about science. So, we are working on the Astronomy Merit Badge. We are camping at Tolt-McDonald County Park January 25th. We were wondering if we could have an astronomy expert come out and teach us. We have two nice scopes and a few binoculars. If you could make it, that would be wonderful. Thank you!     Astronomy Day at the Museum of Flight

    The Museum of Flight has invited Puget Sound area astronomy societies and space organizations to participate in the Museum's twice a year, "Astronomy Day" on Thursday, October 2, from 5-9pm.The SAS has been provided a display table below the SR-71 Blackbird aircraft.
