Notes

We set up our scopes at 6 pm and targeted the moon and before long there was a line of people at every scope anxiously awaiting, for many people, their first look at the moon through a tellescope. Before long the stars of the summer triangle were visable and as the sky darkeded we proceded to target the usual Messier objects, double stars open clusters, globular clusters and a few planitery nebula. One family showed up with a recently purchased used 4.5" Dob on an EQ mount, in poor condition and was looking for someone to help them figure it out. I worked with them for quite a while and was able to coax it into submission. They left with a funchioning scope and hopfully we'll see them again. Everyone had a good time and we packed up around 11:00 pm.
