    A star party and meteor shower watch is scheduled August 11-13th at Sunrise Visitor Center, Mt Rainier National Park. Puget Sound astronomers are encouraged to join this semi-private event. Since this is the first star party of this type for Mt Rainier NP, only area amateur astronomers are being invited. There is no general promotion of this event to the general public.
