Held on: Jun 22, 2015 (Mon) at 10:30 AM to Jun 22, 2015 (Mon) at 05:00 PM

Overview

This summer the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue will be running a variety of specialty camps for kids enthusiastic about one topic. One of the specialty camps we are running is Space Camp!

We were curious if you would be able to send a volunteer to talk to our kids about space, the UW observatory, or cover any other interesting material for the kids.

Our Space Camp program will run from the first day of our summer camp to the last day (June 22 - August 21) at three of our locations. The camps run from 9:30am-4:00pm. We would love for someone to attend each week, but realize thats not very realistic.

If you could get back to me with potential availabilities for you, I'm sure we can work out a few dates during the summer that will work out for the two of us.

This is our second annual Celebrate Science night. We are holding it on Thursday, May 14, from 6:30-8pm. We were honored with your presence last year and would love it if you could come, again, this year and talk about the stars.

I am putting together a cub scout day camp in June. Our theme is "Guardians of our Galaxy". I am looking into the possibility of a presentation on Astronomy, mostly focused on our Galaxy, with some emphasis on people who were 'heroes' in the field making discoveries. I realize the time isn't right for looking at much. This day is the family day, so could have all ages present.
