Teachers in Longview school district are running a camp for high school students in Cowlitz County.  NASA is funding our camp and it will be a day camp free to students.  We are a title 1 district in southern Washington.  We are open to whatever ideas you may have to enhance this program and are additionally interested in perhaps a star party component.  We do not have telescopes and many of our students do not know how to use them.  I haven't used one in years myself.   Even though the camp is during the day, we planned to invite campers back at night to do some extension activities with telescopes if we can get it arranged.
