I just returned from a tour to 'balmy' Alaska. There was sunshine
every day and the noontime temperatures were in the seventies.
Coming sount from Anchorage we saw the Northern Light putting
on a brilliant show. The ship's photographer managed to photograph
them in a darkend part of the ship in the crews quarters. She
took the photos with a professional film, ASA 160, holding the
shutter open for 45 seconds and just leaning against the bulkhead.
The attached photo is what she took.
