More Information
Beautiful, star spangled Snoqualmie Point Park will be the site of a SAS public star party open to the public and to all interested persons.. SAS members will be present with telescopes for public viewing, and all attendees are welcome to bring telescopes if they are telescope owners. Since Snoqualmie is about a forty minute drive east of Seattle and away from the city light pollution dimming the universe, the skies are dark and offer a thrilling observing experience, especially for city dwellers accustomed to city light pollution. The observing experience will be a great new experience for for city dwellers accustomed to seeing the universe only with the interference of city light pollution. Save this date for a night of wonder and awe open to all!
