    Live Astrophotography Presentation

    Matt Dieterich will be giving a live presenation via YouTube about telescopes, mounts, and astrophotography. He will share some recent telescope observatories he helped install equipment for. To join the live session, search for The Astro Imaging Channel on You Tube when the live stream begins April 26th at 6:30 PM.

    Online Social Hour

    Let us have an informal, online member social hour tonight. Grab a bowl of ice cream and/or your favorite comfort food and log in to connect with other SAS members. There will be no formal, guest speaker presentation. I will have 10-15 minutes of information on the latest SAS news.     Astrophotography Special Interest Group Meeting

    Topic: Astrophotography! No special topic this week. Instead, we'll just have a zoom hangout to chat about astrophotography and have some general comraderie. The online zoom link is posted here. Note this meeting will be earlier than normal (since we aren't constrained by the Museum). Meeting will be from 5:30 - 6:30.

    Mars Perseverance Rover

    SAS President, and NASA Solar System Ambassador John McLaren will give a presentation on the upcoming Mars Perseverance Rover Mission. The monthly general meeting is as always, Open to the Public. However, due to the Covid 19 virus UW campus closure, this meeting will only be on-line. From 7:00PM to 7:30PM new members and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members on-line. The meeting begins at 7:30pm with SAS business, followed by the lecture.
