    Third Quarter Moon Members-Only Star Party

    This star party offers another opportunity each month to observe under a dark sky. It's open to all SAS members but is specifically designed to orient new members to dark-sky protocol. Although dark-sky etiquette is expected (see below), experienced members will be on hand to help newcomers learn the ropes. The Third Quarter Star Party is for SAS members only and will be on Saturday, March 14th, at 8:30 p.m. if weather permits.

    Always scheduled on the closest Saturday to the New Moon, our next Members-only Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead Star Party will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 7:00 P.M. to 11:55 P.M. Join us as we look up and enjoy the evening sky. We stargaze at the Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead parking lot to the southwest of Snoqualmie Point Park. All vehicles must display a valid Discover Pass.
