About the Event
Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public. Everyone is welcome including families with children. Feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars,
Dress warm, bring a chair, blanket.
Please note that no food or drink is allowed on the fields.
For those setting up telescopes, the field lights will remain on between 7pm and 8pm. Field lights will turn off at 8pm. Field #2 (the middle field) will be used for public stargazing. Field #1 (the NE field farthest from the road) is reserved for astrophotographers to set up their equipment to avoid confusion as to which telescopes are available for visual stargazing.
