This public star gaze event is authorized by the city of Duvall, Parks & Recreation Department and is free of charge. This event has been moved from Friday April 24th to Saturday April 25th due to late ballgames Friday night.

About the Event

Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public.  Everyone is welcome including families with children.  Feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars,

Dress warm, bring a chair, blanket. No food or drink is allowed in the fields.


Please note that no food or drink is allowed on the fields.


Star party host at Duvall is David Horn.


For those setting up telescopes, you can setup 60 minutes before the scheduled start time. The field lights will remain on until the start time at which point they will be turned off.


Field #2 (the middle field) will be used for public stargazing.
