About the Event
Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public. Everyone is welcome including families with children. Feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars,
Dress warm, bring a chair, blanket.
8:30pm - 9:30pm - Bring your own telescope and Seattle Astronomical Society members can help you out and answer your questions.
9:30pm - 1am - Stargazing - Highlights to include the crescent moon, Mars, globular clusters, double stars, nebula, galaxies, and active Nova V462 Lupi in the constellation Lupus.
Please note that no food or drink is allowed on the fields.
For those setting up telescopes, the field lights will remain on between 7pm and 8pm. Field lights will turn off at 8pm.
