About the Event
The club members get together every month to chat, learn about upcoming events, and listen to a guest astronomer give a talk. There is a new members orientation starting at 6:30pm while the rest of the members get caught up with friends. At 7pm the president gives a presentation about what the club is doing. The guest speaker starts at 7:30pm. Snacks and drinks are served.

The Vera C. Rubin Observatory’s Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST), the most comprehensive optical astronomical sky survey ever undertaken, will obtain panoramic images of the night sky every clear night for ten years, starting this year.
