About the Event
It can be cold so dress warmly in layers. We urge everyone to bring a folding camping chair, a hot drink, and a blanket. If you are bringing a lot of equipment we suggest using one of those folding wagons. We request people keep their pets at home as they can tip over equipment if they get their leash tied up around tripod legs.

We ask that you bring a red light flashlight and do not use white light flashlights because it ruins night vision.
Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public.
Everyone is welcome including families with children. Check the SAS website, www.seattleastro.org, frequently for stargazing event status. If weather conditions force cancellation of an event, that news will be posted not later that 4PM the day of the event.
