Pat Terhune-Inverso, Senior Adjunct Professor, has graciously offered a private tour of the planetarium to SAS.  

She will discuss the planetrium and her approach to teaching astronomy at the college level.

    It is time for the Bonney Lake Chapter's trip to the Science Dome! The event is on Saturday, May 7th at 11am. Location is Pierce College in Fort Steilacoom. We will start with a presentation on comets, asteroids, and dwarf planets. After that there is the dome show on Planet Nine.     Navigating the Celestial Sea at the Treworgy Planetarium

    Former planetarium supervisor and forever planetarian Jeff Dunn will discuss the joys and challenges of operating and maintaining a legacy planetarium. Additionally Jeff will share his experience working with various institutions, non-profit organizations and astronomical societies and what the future looks like for astronomical outreach.
