Finally, we've gotten the disposal of hazardous waste from our boarding house up and running
Our private nursing home near Leeds underwent renovations to the living quarters and utility rooms. During the work, a large amount of specialized waste accumulated: old pressure-relief mattresses, broken walkers, packaging from hygiene products, and discarded linens. In the UK, regulatory agencies issue hefty fines for violations of waste management regulations at care facilities, and regular waste collection services won’t even touch this kind of waste. In the end, we decided not to take any chances and hired a care home waste management. The crew arrived with special containers, carefully carried everything out themselves, loaded it into a specialized truck, and provided a complete set of supporting documents for the environmental inspection right on the spot. The entire process went off without a hitch and without any unnecessary stress.
