Moving back Friday, February 28 due cloudy skies now forecast for Saturday night.  This event has a later 10:30pm start due to sporting events at the fields earlier in the evening until 10pm.

This public star gaze event is authorized by the city of Duvall, Parks & Recreation Department and is free of charge.

Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public.  Everyone is welcome including families with children.  Feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars,

Dress warm, bring a chair, blanket. Please note that no food or drink is allowed on the fields.

For those setting up telescopes, the field lights will remain on between 10pm and 10:30pm. Field lights will turn off at 10:30pm.  Field #2 (the middle field) will be used for public stargazing.  Field #1 (the NE field farthest from the road) is reserved for astrophotographers to set up their equipment to avoid confusion as to which telescopes are available for visual stargazing.
