Overview
This month's topic is "Puzzles in Galaxy Evolution" by Professor Charles Louis Steinhardt professor at the Cosmic Dawn Center, part of the Niels Bohr Institute (University of Copenhagen).
Professor Steinhardt will discuss some of the recent advances in galaxy evolution and some of the things that, as a result, we have discovered we really don’t understand about how galaxies are assembled in the early Universe
The monthly general meeting is as always, Open to the Public. Prior to the General Meeting, SAS volunteer staff offer a welcome table from 7:00PM to 7:30PM. New member and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members. The meeting begins at 7:30pm with SAS business, followed by the lecture.
