We will go over image processing. This will be a hands on, so bring your laptop and images and the more experienced people will help and coach those that think they can benefit.

Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.

    Roland White will discuss Solar Imaging, which is timely for the upcoming Transit Of Mercury on May 9th of this year. Another upcoming event of particular interest is the Total Solar Eclipse that will occur next year in August of 2017.     Monthly meeting of the Seattle Astronomical Society's Astrophotography Special Interest Group (APSIG). This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required! The May topic will be Planetary Photography. Nikhil Joshi will give a talk on how to capture and process images of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the Moon. Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.
