Overview

Topic: How to Choose an Astrophotography Camera.  Matt will discuss the elements of a camera and telescope system, such as resolution, image scale, and the bayer matrix and how these contribute to decisions made when choosing an astro camera.

This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required!

Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.

Dark, bias, and flat frames are necessary to make the most out of your data. Come learn how to take them and how to appropriately apply them to your data! This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required! Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.

If you've hit a snag in your processing, or would just like to learn new techniques to use with your data, come get help from fellow imagers (and help others, too)! This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required! Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.

    Topic: Processing workshop.  Bring your data and your questions!  If you've hit a snag in your processing, or would just like to learn new techniques to use with your data, come get help from fellow imagers (and help others, too)!

    We will have several processing experts on hand to help.  Bring your laptop and some data with you and we will work together in small groups to answer any processing questions you might have.
