Topic: Open Discussion: Imaging Automation with SGP and PHD

We will be holding an open Q&A session on automating imaging sessions in SGP.  Bring your questions about getting your imaging rig up and running and/or issues you've recently had (focusing, framing, guiding, centering, etc) and we can discuss them as a group. If possible, bring your SGP or PHD logs for troubleshooting reference.

This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required!

Meets second Tuesday of the month in the Red Barn Classroom at the Museum of Flight.

This is just a friendly reminder that the Astrophotography Special Interest Group Meeting (astrophotography event) is scheduled for Sep 11, 2018, 07:00 PM. Please come out and join us! We’ll be holding an open session on Imaging Automation with SGP and PHD. Bring any questions you have about getting your rig up and running and we’ll discuss/troubleshoot as a group! Bring your logs if you can, as well! I hope to see many of you there!

    Topic: Planetary Imaging. We'll have a telescope or two ready to do some planetary imaging of Jupiter in real time (and at dusk!!). This will be perfect practice for the upcoming Mars opposiition at the end of the month! This group meets to discuss imaging and processing techniques. No experience or special equipment required!
