Overview

Dave Prosper from The Night Sky Network will be doing a remote demonstration of the functionality of NASA's Night Sky Network and how it can be used by members. 

The monthly general meeting is as always, Open to the Public. Prior to the General Meeting, SAS volunteer staff offer a welcome table from 7:00PM to 7:30PM. New member and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members. All attendees are welcome to stop by, have a cookie, and (if available) make a name tag to help everyone get to know you better. The meeting begins at 7:30pm with SAS business, followed by the lecture.

    Mars Perseverance Rover

    SAS President, and NASA Solar System Ambassador John McLaren will give a presentation on the upcoming Mars Perseverance Rover Mission. The monthly general meeting is as always, Open to the Public. However, due to the Covid 19 virus UW campus closure, this meeting will only be on-line. From 7:00PM to 7:30PM new members and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members on-line. The meeting begins at 7:30pm with SAS business, followed by the lecture.
