Volunteer astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society and Nocturnal in Normandy Park team up with the City of Normandy Park to provide guests with telescopes and assistance to view the Moon, planets and constellations and other interesting astronomical objects.
Meet for monthly star parties at the City Hall Park - SE Field 1 Baseball.
Dress warmly, very warmly and bring a dim, very dim, red light. Please no white lights.

Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead Star Party
Sat at 07:00 PMSAS Members OnlyAlways scheduled on the closest Saturday to the New Moon, our next Members-only Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead Star Party will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 7:00 P.M. to 11:55 P.M. Join us as we look up and enjoy the evening sky. We stargaze at the Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead parking lot to the southwest of Snoqualmie Point Park. All vehicles must display a valid Discover Pass.

If attending the member only star party, please read and follow these King County Health Department Guidelines:

Older adults and at risk individuals with underlying medical conditions are encouraged to stay home.
Do not attend if you have symptoms. Go home immediately if you begin having symptoms.

Do not share looking thorough other’s telescopes to avoid “touching your eye” to a potentially contaminated surface.
