The Seattle Astronomical Society is hosting an evening of star gazing at Covington Community Park to safely observe interesting astronomical objects and to learn about the universe. Astronomers from area astronomical societies have been invited to share telescope views of planets, stars, clusters, galaxies, and other celestial objects of the season.
Please feel free to bring your own equipment and/or monthly star charts.

This event is weather dependent so please check back for possible cancellations.

    Please join us on for our monthly Paramount Park Star Party in nearby Shoreline! In order to provide more opportunities to view instead of cancelling, we will use the Friday and Sunday of the weekend as backup dates as the weather dictates. Please check back throughout the week of the event for any changes or cancellations. We hope you can join us again or for the first time! (Don't forget to bring a red light headlamp if you have one available)
