Overview
I am an Event Planner with the Washington Athletic Club. Over the last couple years we have had the opportunity to have presentations with scientists from Johns Hopkins Physics Lab and thier missions with NASA. We have an upcoming speaker who will discuss the DART program and their goal of redirecting asteroids out of the path of earth. Science continues to be of interest and people have brought up the idea of an event for our members in August during the Perseids Meteor shower. We'd like to meet somewhere in the Seattle area for an outdoor event to learn and watch.
