More Information

Last year we had up to 30 people attending our 3rd Saturday Star Gazing events. This year we hope to double that. If you are bringing your own telescope please arrive before dark to set it up. We will be Star Gazing until midnight. We will have several telescopes there for you to look through.

  • Wear warm clothes, even in July and August it can get chilly.
  • Bring the kids!
  • If you bring a flashlight then make sure it is red. No white lights at the Star Gazing event.
  • If you take a picture please make sure you have the flash turned off and take a long exposure.
  • No pets on leashes please. They have a tendency to get tangled and overturn the telescopes.
  • Bring a chair or blanket with you and binoculars if you have them and look up at the stars.
  • We usually have hot chocolate and coffee available so bring a cup.
  • Our events are on school grounds so no alcohol please.

The location changes each month so check a specific date for the school we are at.
