As for the September Party, It did go well! It was myself, my wife, and one other SAS member, whose name I forget. We had three telescopes with us. I had two, and our other member had one as well.  We had about fifty people show up, coming and going, with the target of choice being the moon.  People were impressed, and hopefully a lot of information was learned!
