This is our second annual Celebrate Science night. We are holding it on Thursday, May 14, from 6:30-8pm. We were honored with your presence last year and would love it if you could come, again, this year and talk about the stars.

    Space Night at the Museum of Flight

    Open to Public

    Astronomy societies from around the Puget Sound area will take part in the Museum of Flight's semiannual Space Day. This event is a great oppourtunity for club members to promote astronomy, hand out club literature and, if the weather permits, go outside on the Museum sidewalks and involve Museum guests in solar, celestial and planetary viewing. Volunteers can help out at the display table or can bring equipment to do some "sidewalk" astronomy.

    Space Camp

    This summer the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue will be running a variety of specialty camps for kids enthusiastic about one topic. One of the specialty camps we are running is Space Camp! We were curious if you would be able to send a volunteer to talk to our kids about space, the UW observatory, or cover any other interesting material for the kids. Our Space Camp program will run from the first day of our summer camp to the last day (June 22 - August 21) at three of our locations. ... more
