Overview

This workshop will cover basic concepts needed for choosing and using telescope, eyepieces, and star charts. A secondary purpose of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for both new and established members to get to know each other. Several experienced SAS observers will help with discussions.

    SAS Workshop on Buying and Using Telescopes. Please register by sending an email to workshop@seattleastro.org with your name. Saturday afternoon, June 18th, at Theodore Jacobsen Observatory (TJO) on the UW Campus, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Free Parking is available on campus in the TJO parking lot after 12 noon.
