New event! Join us for an evening of observing interesting astronomical objects and learning about the universe. Astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society, Boeing Employees Astronomical Society, and Tacoma Astronomical Society will share telescope views of planets, stars, clusters, galaxies, and other celestial objects of the season.

AMS Weatherfest!
Sun at 10:00 AMSAS Members OnlyMembers of the Outreach Team from the SAS have been invited to host a booth on the Great American Eclipse at the 'WeatherFest' portion of the American Meterological Society's conference in Seattle on Sunday, January 22nd. 'WeatherFest' is the official kick-off on that Sunday and it is a weather and sky focused science fair for kids of all ages. It will be held in the WA Convention Center.
