Notes
Covington Parks & Recreation sponsors monthly star parties observing the moon, planets, constellations and interesting astronomical objects. These star parties are held on the west side of the soccer field. Volunteer astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society, Boeing Employees' Astronomical Society, and Tacoma Astronomical Society will provide telescopes and assist guests of all ages to view available celestial objects of the season. It is especially important to dress warmly and bring only dim, red lights. No white flashlights please. You can also visit the web site and print and your own copy of the current month star chart of the night sky.
