Overview

Please join us for an evening of learning about the universe by observing interesting astronomical objects, including the moon, constellations, planets, and stars.  Telescopes and/or binoculars will be provided by SAS volunteers, but participants are also welcome to bring their telescopes.  Also, participants might want to bring their favorite cell phone sky app or a sky map from www.skymaps.com , but these helps are not required.  Dress warmly and plan to meet in the peninsula area just south of the Bathhouse Theatre and east of the Bathhouse parking lot near the trail around the lake.

Reminder —

This is just a friendly reminder that the Green Lake Public Star Party (outreach event) is scheduled for Nov 17, 2018, 06:00 PM. Please come out and join us!  And if you are an SAS member interested in star parties and the telescopes that enrich star party experience, you may want to inquire about the new SAS equipment co-manager opening by writing to equipment@seattleastro.org.  If you enjoy working with telescopes, astrophotography gear, and other equipment, helping to manage the SAS telescopes might be like an ongoing, delightful star party experience for you!

Please come out and join us!  And do bring your telescope if you have one because we are expecting a large crowd!  Many volunteers with telescopes will be needed and welcome!
