Overview

This October star party is an International Observe the Moon event. 

Volunteer astronomers from Seattle Astronomical Society and Boeing Employees' Astronomical Society team up with Kent Parks to provide guests with telescopes and assistance to view the Moon, planets and constellations and other interesting astronomical objects.

Meet for monthly star parties at the"Lagoon" parking lot on the east side of Russell Road.  

Dress warmly, very warmly and bring a dim, very dim, red light.  Please no white lights.

Reminder —

This is just a friendly reminder that the Green River, Van Doren's Landing, International Observe the Moon is scheduled for the weekend of Oct 3-6 , 2019,.  The start time for the Saturday event is  from 7:00 - 11:00 PM. Please come out and join us.
