**IN-PERSON / HYBRID MEETING** (In-Person Mars Viewing opportunity post meeting if weather permits)
Please join us this month as we pick up some tips on how to best view the upcoming Mars 2022 opposition in December. Beginners and experienced astronomy lovers alike are welcome!
Stephanie Pahl Anderson of Cloud Break Optics returns to help provide some best practices and expectation setting to view and possibly image the beauitful Red Planet through the telescope. Questions are welcomed and encouraged.
If the weather cooperates, we will use a 14-inch schmidt cassegrain telescope to get a glimpse of the Red Planet in the UW Physics courtyard outside of our meeting. (Dress warm!)
SAS MEMBERS NOTE: Please arrive by 7 PM for our board elections for our 2022-2023 positions. Thank you!
Every month SAS meets for our general meeting commonly featuring a guest speaker and presentation. It also provides members a chance to engage and be in community with each other.
As always, our monthly general meetings are open to both SAS members and the public. We hope to see you online and/or in-person soon!
