Please join us for our continued celebration of Apollo 50 with UW Professor Toby Smith. Professor Smith will be speaking with us about the Apollo 12 mission on the 50th anniversary of the return launch. 

The monthly general meeting is as always, Open to the Public. Prior to the General Meeting, SAS volunteer staff offer a welcome table from 7:00PM to 7:30PM. New member and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members. All attendees are welcome to stop by, have a cookie, and (if available) make a name tag to help everyone get to know you better. The meeting begins at 7:30pm with SAS business, followed by the lecture.

    Amateur astronomers from area astronomy societies will chat with library patrons and answer questions as they interact with our tables of hands-on activities related to the moon. The Library is having a concurrent series of short portable planetarium shows, but in between shows patrons will be doing other activities--a great chance to talk to your experts.
