Overview

Come join us for a night of stargazing in a new darker location. We will have telescopes for people to look through or feel free to bring your own. The fun starts just after sunset.

We have moved closer to Buclkey in order to get out of the city lights.

For new astronomers we are starting off the night with a program we are calling "Welcome to Stargazing".

    Beautiful, star spangled Snoqualmie Point Park will be the site of a SAS public star party open to the public and to all interested persons.. SAS members will be present with telescopes for public viewing, and all attendees are welcome to bring telescopes if they are telescope owners.     2022 SAS Brooks Memorial State Park Star Party (July)

    What to expect: Join us for an annual tradition of stargazing from one of the darkest spots in Washington State. This year we are hosting four star parties at Brooks Memorial State Park near but not in Goldendale, WA. One Brooks Memorial Star Party will be held in each of the summer months of June, July, August, and September of 2022.
