The Seattle Astronomical Society is hosting an evening of star gazing at Covington Community Park to observe interesting astronomical objects and to learn about the universe. This Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead Star Party is reserved for SAS members-only and closed to the public. (A star party in nearby Snoqualmie Point Park is open on this same night to the public.) Beautiful, star spangled Snoqualmie Point Park will be the site of a SAS public star party open to the public and to all interested persons.. SAS members will be present with telescopes for public viewing, and all attendees are welcome to bring telescopes if they are telescope owners. This year we are hosting four star parties at Brooks Memorial State Park near but not in Goldendale, WA.
