This Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead Star Party is reserved for SAS members-only and closed to the public. (A star party in nearby Snoqualmie Point Park is open on this same night to the public.) For SAS members, many of whom are very experienced observers, this members-only star party will offer an opportunity to interact and thereby enrich observing experience by learning from each other. Online meeting only. This month we will be discussing purchasing 5 acres of land in a bortle 2 dark sky site near Goldendale WA for use by the membership as a dedicated location for observing year round. We will also hold a vote to make a change to the bylaws that elevate Outreach Coordinator and Equipment Manager to full voting board members.
